Improvisation

Time limit: max. 15 minutes

  • Improvisation of a variation form a on a given sacred song theme
  • Free improvisation on themes by Petr Eben selected b  the Jury

Warning: The Jury may interrupt a contestant's performance if they exceed the time limits set for the interpretation and improvisation part. Only assigned registrars are allowed to be present during the preparation (registration) and the competition. The rules of procedure are published in Czech and English. In case of ambiguity or dispute, the Czech language version shall prevail (see the Rules of Procedure and Organisation of the 22nd International Organ Competition of Petr Eben OPAVA 2024).

By sending the application I give my consent that my personal data (name, surname, nationality, school name, name of teacher, photograph, age) are used in printed materials advertising the Petr Eben International Organ Competition, in the competition timetables, the competition archive, and the competition programme booklet.
